I stopped as it was one of only a couple restaurants that had outdoor seating. I have a small dog and wasn’t going to leave her in a hot black truck. Gretchen was the bartender/server. Got my drink right away. Came back and took my order of soft pretzel with nacho cheese and small pepperoni pizza. Hey, it’s bar food, but it’s good bar food and the prices were reasonable. Beautiful day to sit on the balcony and watch motorcycles go by. When I get back to Cumberland, I’ll stop in again. Thank you Gretchen!
I had a great time. They served me amazing food and went out of their way to accommodate me without asking. I played pool and the locals treated me nice. Im looking for a new pool team. I definitely had a good time hanging out. Everyone i produced themselves and we had a fair competition. They respected me as a female. That was a big deal to me. Thanks ladies and gents. They even jumped on the roof to get my lighter.
The Balcony had plenty of seating inside and outside. It was not loud and very casual and relaxing. The food was delicious and reasonable for the portion sizes. They had different specials daily. Our server was friendly and attentive.
Had the day's special, crab cake sandwich with hand cut old bay fries. Ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls - delicious. If I go back ( not from the area) I'm going to try the cheese steak egg rolls.
This past weekend our family celebrated a milestone birthday at The Balcony. It was my first time at The Balcony, as I came from the other side of the state. The whole experience was excellent and the owners personally visited with us and our guests and clearly cared about how it was going. Their entire staff showed care and compassion and professionalism throughout. Food was good and beautifully displayed. Very nice place! Thank you Balcony staff! Wish you continued success.
Been seeing this place on facebook for a while. Well worth the 30 minutes from Bedford. Best burger I’ve had in a good while, wife had the Cobb Salad and was impressed. We’ll definitely be back!!!
The temperature was a bit cool & the noise wasn't too bad. We had Fish & Chips and Baked Haddock, Fries & Cole Slaw. Our meals were good.
